There are two basic ways to indicate current flow in circuits.
- Electron Current Flow

In electron current flow ELECTRONS flow from negative to positive.
This type of convention is often used in chemistry.
- Conventional Current Flow

In conventional current flow Current flows from positive to negative
This type of convention is used in physics, electronics, and computer engineering.
